Villarreal of Spain fast-rising winger, Samuel Chukwueze has revealed the secrets behind his success in La Liga, as he says determination and hard work have helped him step up his game.
After netting another goal for the second straight La Liga match this past Sunday, Chukwueze said in a chat with sports247.ng that he is happy to be making an impact with The yellow Submarine.
Chukwueze’s third goal in all competitions for the struggling club came five days after he started in his Super Eagles’ debut and donned Nigeria’s number 10 jersey, but the youngster says he will keep working harder.
He admitted he must not relax, if he is hoping for more thrills to come in his fledgling career, and told sports247.ng in an exclusive that he will step up with more efforts for club and country.
Chukwueze declared: “I am happy that God is helping me to make a mark in La Liga and with the Super Eagles.
“What is also helping me is hard work and determination. I hope that the situation will continue for me and even improve as the season goes by.”
