Nigeria’s Chidi Okezie delivered another strong performance in the men’s 400m, clocking 45.23s to secure a second-place finish at the Edmonton Athletics Invitational in Canada.
The race was won by home favorite Christopher Morales-Williams, who stormed to victory in a Season’s Best (SB) of 44.85s, reaffirming his growing reputation on the global one-lap scene.

Okezie, who has been enjoying a consistent run this season, stayed competitive throughout the race, holding his form against a stacked field. His 45.23s finish keeps him in the conversation ahead of upcoming international competitions, including the World Athletics Championships.
