Charity Adule Cherishes Falcons’ Camp Experience

BIIK Kazygurt of Kazakhstan forward, Charity Adule says she is excited to be part of Nigeria’s female national, Super Falcons’ camp in Epe, Lagos, and is looking forward to making the final squad to the Africa Women’s Nations Cup in Ghana.

Sports247.ng learnt that Adule, who had previously been approached to switch nationality and star for Kazakhstan’s female national team, is eagerly looking forward to donning the green-and-white at AWCON 2018, but admits the competition for shirts is intense.

Adule, though, is optimistic that the experience she has gained from playing top-flight football in Europe will boost her chances of getting a place on Thomas Dennerby’s final squad to Ghana 2018.

The former Pelican Stars, Rivers Angels and Bayelsa Queens star also said she is confident that the Falcons will progress from Group B on top with South Africa, ahead of Zambia and Kenya, then win the title.

Adule confessed: “I’m elated that I’m part of this squad. Breaking into the final squad for the competition won’t be easy, because of the big players in the team.

“But, Kazygurt play big teams in Europe, in the Champions League, so I believe the experience will help me in camp.

“I think the group is okay for us, we are going to qualify alongside South Africa. We’ve got players who can win the title once more.”
