Acting General Secretary of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Samson Adamu, has applauded the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for its decision to construct a dedicated hostel for the country’s national teams.

Adamu gave the commendation during a visit to the NFF headquarters in Abuja, where he inspected the ongoing FIFA Forward Project and praised the federation’s commitment to improving football infrastructure.
“The national team hostel will significantly improve player welfare and strengthen football development in Nigeria,” Adamu said.
The CAF official noted that providing quality accommodation for players and technical crews is an important investment that will enhance preparation for international competitions.
He described the project as evidence of the NFF’s determination to build sustainable structures capable of supporting the growth of Nigerian football.

“Projects like this create the right environment for players to perform at their best while laying a strong foundation for future success,” he added.»
The hostel forms part of the FIFA Forward Project currently under construction at the NFF headquarters, with the federation targeting completion within the next two years.
Adamu expressed confidence that the facility would become a valuable asset for Nigerian football, providing improved welfare and modern infrastructure for the country’s various national teams.
