CAF Confederation Cup: Kano Pillars Need More Friendly Matches- Nyima Nwagua

Kano Pillar’s player Nyima Nwagua believes the team (Kano Pillars) needs to execute more friendly matches before their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round match against AS Jaraaf at the end of November.

Sai Masu Gida were eliminated at this same stage of this competition when Asante Kokoto knocked them out and Nyima Nwagua while remembering their exit last time out said that the team (Kano Pillars) must prepare very hard to stand any chance of defeating the Senegalese side.

Nyima said, “We are going to be playing against As Jaraaf of Senegal. We already know that there are no minnows again everywhere. We must prepare very well to have a chance”.

“We have played against Wikki Tourist, El Kanemi Warriors, and a few other clubs. We still plan to play at least two friendly matches more before the continental game”.

Kano Pillars will travel to Dakar in Senegal for the first Leg slated for the weekend of November 27 to 29 before hosting the Senegalese side on the weekend of December 4-6.
