The technical director of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Augustine Eguavoen has declared emphatically that the high-profile A-License Coaching Course organised in the country by the continental body has come to stay.
Sports247 reports that Eguavoen stated as much while speaking during a ceremony in Abuja to officially mark the prestigious course’s return to Nigeria after an absence of nine years.
The return ceremony brought together top officials of the NFF as well as facilitators, and participants drawn from across the country, with 25 coaches already listed to engage in the course.
Eguavoen, who is a former Super Eagles’ defender, captain and head coach, expressed delight at the A-licence course’s return and admitted he felt like the happiest person for making it possible.
“I think I am the most excited person here. I don’t know about any other person, but since this thing is back, and it’s back to stay, we will build on it. By the grace of God, we will come to accomplish our mission and step up to higher levels,” Eguavoen projected.
