BURUJ OFFICIALS AND PLAYERS ADD COLOUR TO SANWO-OLU FIRST STAKEHOLDERS MEETING

Players and officials of Buruj Sports Academy storm the venue of the first stakeholders meeting to be attended by Mr. Jide Sanwo-Olu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2019 gubernatorial elections in Lagos State.

The meeting which took place inside the conference hall of Iru Victoria Island Local Council Development Authority, had in attendance creme la creme of  APC chieftains from that zone, campaign committee members, officials of the LCDA and other party faithful from across the Centre of Excellence.

Armed with the new edition of Buruj Sports Magazine, the players of the academy were in jubilant mood and added glamour and colour to the event as they distributed the paper which contained publicity materials and stories in support of the ambition of Lagos Island-born awaiting Governor.

The CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, while speaking at the event, explained that he, his management team and players decided to be part of the maiden stakeholders meeting to demonstrate their firm commitment to the task of ensuring that Mr. Sanwo-Olu emerge victorious at the polls next year.

“We are happy to be part of this very historic meeting. We believe so much in the candidacy of Mr. Sanwo-Olu and this visit is intended to re-affirm our solidarity and commitment to that task of ensuring that he come out tops during the election proper next year.”

“As you can see, we have commenced the publicity through our paper, Buruj Sports Magazine and our jersey and hopefully, this is just the beginning. We will continue in that direction till victory is assured,” he said.

Meanwhile, many stakeholders who spoke at the meeting which is expected to go round all the Local Councils in the state have admonished Mr.Sanwo-Olu to make his campaign strategies an all-inclusive one so that all hands will be on deck to work for him and the party at large and in response promised to do just that.

He also thank all the party elders and members for the confidence reposed in him and vowed not to disappoint.
