Bukola Olopade Lauds Presidential Task Force, Sports Ministry On Non-Contacts Sports Resumption

Bukola Olapade, CEO Nilayo Sports Management has saluted the sports Minister efforts and the presidential task force over the return of non-contacts sports while enjoining the observance of health protocols.

In a recent TV interview, Bukola professed that he’s a huge supporter of the return of non-contact sports as he was initially not in support of opening sports having just came back from the hospital with the nature of the virus.

He said, “I saw that there was a need to create new protocols for us to be able to open up sports and I can see that globally now, those protocols are being created. Am very glad that the minister and his team have been very proactive in ensuring that these protocols have been submitted to the presidential taskforces before reaching the decision of opening non-contacts sports.”

“I was just whispering to my Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Seyi Johnson that somewhere along the line I also believe that there should be the opening of contacts sports in the very nearest future, it has to happen because it’s a new norm, COVID has come and it’s something we have to live with, we must always ensure that we create the protocols that we live responsibly within the confines of the healthy nature of our sports and jobs that people start enjoying the country and sporting community.”

Non-contacts sports was given the green-light of resumption by President, Muhammadu Buhari last week while also re-opening the recreational centers with strict safety precautions while also imploring compliance with the regulatory regulations.
