Bucknor Organise Award Night In Lagos

Bucknor Football Club of Alimosho organized End Of Year Party and Award Night following the performance of the club in the last year.

The event which took place recently at Ikotun- Igando Local Council Development Area, Lagos were attended by council boss, Lasisi Akinsanya, Bucknor players, fans, well-wishers, guardians, invited club owners, and sports administrators.

Some Bucknor players who distinguished themselves in the last year received excellent awards from the club management.

The award recipient are Ajibola Nurudeen Olanrewaju, Afolabi Quadri, Saheed Taofeek, Ekong John, Azeez Mubarak, Abe Akindipupo, Benjamin Coker Oladipo, Shoga Azeez, Tiamiyu Mubarak, and Ogunjobi Akinwale Kamorudeen

Apart from players, awards were also given to some supporters and coaching crew who were committed and dedicated to the club activities since the club was formed two years ago.

Chairman of Bucknor, Ibrahim olasunkanmi Lawal told Journalists that the award night was organized to appreciate the players, coaches, and supporters for the job well done in the year 2021 adding that the award would spur the players and coaching crew to give their best in the New Year.

“We need to appreciate our players, especially those who performed extremely well in the year 2021. We are doing this as a way of showing appreciation to our players, coaches, and supporters who gave their best to the club in the year 2021, Bucknor is a well-known club in Lagos and Nigeria at large and we are planning to achieve better this year than the previous years,” he said.

In his own remark, Bucknor team manager, Adebowale Habeeb Abidemi thanked God for the success the club achieved last year saying that the award night was organized to appreciate the entire staff and management including players and coaching crew for the job well done in the previous years.

He said Bucknor are committed to marketing some players abroad and ready to organize scouting programs where some players would be selected by the foreign scouts.

He tasked Ikotun- Igando Council boss to assist them by providing a playground where his team and other football clubs would be training in preparation for high-profile football competitions.
