IASC PatrickLingo Super League MD2: ‘We Aim to Score Three Goals Next Match’ — MBH Sends Warning After Remed Healthcare Victory

Remed Healthcare forward Mark-Ben Ikechukwu, fondly known as MBH, has promised a more clinical attacking display in the team’s next fixture after scoring the decisive goal in their 1-0 victory over Wellborn Hotels in Matchweek 2 of the Island AllStars Sports Club PatrickLingo Super League Football Tournament at Lagos Business School.
Speaking in an interview with Sports247 after the encounter, MBH described the performance as impressive but admitted that his side could have converted more of their opportunities.
“It was a great game and an impressive performance from the team. We gave our best and put everything into the game. Unfortunately, we could only score one goal. However, we promise to improve our goalscoring in the next match and aim to score three goals,” he said.
The forward’s decisive contribution ensured that Remed Healthcare collected all three points from a competitive encounter against Wellborn Hotels, providing an important boost to the team’s campaign.
‘Scoring Is Always on My Mind’
MBH also explained the instinctive thinking behind his match-winning finish, which came after Onyeze supplied the pass that allowed him to stretch and connect with the ball near goal.
Asked what was going through his mind during the decisive moment, the forward said his focus was entirely on finding the back of the net.
“My instinct was simply to put the ball into the net. Whenever I am close to the goal, scoring is always on my mind, and I am delighted that I was able to find the net today,” he explained.
His determination to finish the move proved decisive, separating both teams and giving Remed Healthcare a valuable victory in the competition.
MBH Sends Warning to Future Opponents
With the three points secured, attention has already shifted to Remed Healthcare’s next fixture. MBH believes the result should serve as a warning to their upcoming opponents, insisting that his team intends to become more productive in front of goal.
“Yes, this result sends a strong message to our next opponents that they should be ready for us. We are determined to score more goals, and we aim to score more than one in our next match,” he declared.
The forward’s confidence reflects Remed Healthcare’s ambition to build on their Matchweek 2 success and strengthen their position as the PatrickLingo Super League campaign becomes increasingly competitive.
For MBH, the immediate priority is clear: maintain the team’s winning momentum while ensuring that their attacking efforts produce more goals in the matches ahead.
