Bournemouth Stop Ofoborh From Flying Eagles’ Camp

Bournemouth of England youngster, Nnamdi Ofoborh will not be part of the Flying Eagles’ squad to next month’s West Africa Football Union (WAFU) U-20 Cup in Lome, Togo due to club commitments.

 

 

Sports247.ng learnt that the English Premier League club have stopped the 19-year-old rising star from making it with Paul Aigbogun’s team to Lomne, but would rather allow him make the squad to the African U-20 Nations Cup next year.

 

 

This is despite the fact that Ofoborh made his debut for the under-20 team against Egypt in a friendly and Aigbogun requested to have him in for the WAFU Cup in December.

 

However, Bournemouth have informed Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) that Ofoborh will not be released, because the regional tourney coincides with a programme he has at the club.

 

Ofoborh has made the bench for the first team with three games in the EFL Cup ‎where they defeated MK Dons 3-0, won 3-2 against Blackburn Rovers and a 2-1 win over Norwich City.
