Football teams in Edo Central and Edo North senatorial districts have been presented with hundreds of Haggai Zebra balls by Comrade Sunny Osayande, the Managing Director and C.E.O of Big Joe Ventures.
Receiving the balls on behalf of these senatorial districts are Mr. Kindness Ohiwere, who is a Board member representing the Edo Central Senatorial district in the Edo State Football Association and, as well as a Member of the Management team of BJ Foundation Football Club of Benin.
Presenting the soccer balls on behalf of Big Joe Ventures, Mr Fred Newton Erhunmwunse, a front line organiser of sporting events in Edo State and beyond, reiterated the commitment of BJ Ventures to developing grassroots football in the state. Mr Fred Erhunmwunse was assisted in the presentation exercise by the Manager of Wesley Hotels, Mr. Paul Nehizena Jeffrey who represented the interest of his boss, Ambassador Wesley Asoro, MD CEO of Wesley Hotels Ltd.
The balls are expected to be shared amongst teams across the two Senatorial districts; as was done during the last presentation exercise in favor of teams in Edo South Senatorial District.
The continuous distribution of sporting items to teams and deserving soccer athletes by Comrade Sunny Osayande has been widely applauded by Edo State Government as well as football stakeholders both in Nigeria and the diaspora.
