Bayern Munich to make £35million bid for Henry Onyekuru

Everton Director of Football Marcel Brands has informed Bayern Munich that they will need to pay at least £35million to sign winger Henry Onyekuru this summer.

According to HITC, via Turkish outlet Fanatik, Brands discussed the fee with Bayern’s Sporting Director Hasan Salihamidzic last weekend as the German champions look to step up their interest in the forward.

Onyekuru has impressed this season on loan at Galatasaray, scoring 11 goals and creating two assists in the Turkish Super Lig, attracting the likes of Bayern and rivals Borussia Dortmund.

The 21-year-old has yet to feature for Everton since his £7million move from KAS Eupen in 2017 due to work permit issues, and was loaned to Anderlecht last season.

The Toffees signed the versatile forward after his standout 2016/17 campaign for Eupen, during which he scored 22 times and created nine assists, and the Nigerian appears to have rediscovered his scoring touch in Turkey.
