Bayelsa United Set To Resume Camp In Bit To Ensure Better Performance Ahead 23/24 NPFL

Ahead of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, the management of Bayelsa United has announced Thursday 6 July as the resumption date for the players.

The release by the club stated that the essence of the resumption is to ensure a better performance in the new season and consolidate their achievement of remaining in the league.

The management of Bayelsa United made it known to all the twenty-six retained players to report to their Ogboloma camp on Thursday in preparation for the new season.

According to the club, “top players retained for the new season includes last season second highest goal scorer Robert Mizo, midfielder Alex Oyowah, Edwin Ayiba, Stephen Ikechi Wisdom, Alex Jerry, Gabriel Biriduba, Sheriff Yinsua, Saro Loveday and goalkeeper Kelvin Ogunga.”

Bayelsa United finished seventh, two points away from the drop zone to maintain their status in the league.
