Ayomide Wahab gears up to shine as Turkish U-19 League resumes

Nigerian striker Ayomide Wahab has reiterated his commitment to continue shinning for Turkish club Igdir F.K’s Under-19 side.

Joining the club in January from SCL Football Academy in Ibadan, Ayomide Wahab was drafted to the team’s Under 19 side and he has been superb.

In just 4 games, the 19-year-old netted 8 goals and created 2 assists thereby winning the hearts of the club’s fans in Turkey.

The Turkish Under 19 League recently resumed after a 2-week break in which Ayomide and his teammates were supposed to face Vanspor on Sunday, but due to the weather condition, the game was postponed.

While speaking on Monday morning, March 9, Ayomide Wahab stated emphatically that he can’t wait to get back on the pitch.

“During the break, I and my teammates have been training hard and we can’t wait to get back on the pitch.

“Like I’ve always been saying, it has been nice so far being here in Turkey and I just want to continue scoring and helping my team,” Wahab explained.

Ayomide Wahab is one of the Nigerian young strikers doing excellently well this year in Europe
