Falconet and Nasarawa Amazon midfielder, Christy Ucheibe has charged members of the Super Falcons to go all out and crush every opposition at the forth coming Africa Women Cup of Nations in Ghana which will be played from November 17 to December 1 and successfully defend the title they won two years ago in Cameroon.
Ucheibe who was part of the Coach Christopher Danjuma’s team to the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in France failed to make the final cut for the championship in Ghana but is confident the team will do well under coach Thomas Dennerby.
The Falcons will play her first game of the competition on Sunday November 18 against the well prepared Bayana Bayana of South Africa before facing Zambia and two time AWCON winner Equatorial Guinea.
Nigeria has won the Africa Women Cup of Nation ten times out of the 12.
Aside hoping to win the Championships the team will also be hoping to book one of the spots for the 2019 FIFA Women World Cup in France.
