The president of Nigeria Football Supporters Club has expressed shock over the death on the morning of Sunday 18th August 2019, of a former 2nd Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, High chief Chief Oyuki Jackson Obaseki, the Ohe of Benin Kingdom.
Abayomi Ogunjimi has expressed deep shock at the demise of chief Oyuki Obaseki, he stated that “he will be missed greatly by the football fraternity considering the input by the great football administrator, he was an icon who strives tirelessly to lift the Nigerian football league to greater heights”.
He will be remembered for his legacies left behind in bringing our league to international standard, Abayomi Ogunjimi stated further.
“A truly big tree has fallen, but we take solace in the scriptures which says ” there is a time to be born and a time to die” though we love you chief God loves you most. Ogunjimi pray God to grant the family to bear the loss
