Arokodare Receives Confidence Boost Ahead Of EPL Clash With Tottenham, Teammate At Wolves Explains

Wolverhampton Wanderers of England midfielder, Marshal Monetsi has opined that the club’s new Nigerian towering striker, Tolu Arokodare got a massive boost ahead of this weekend’s fixture when he scored against Everton in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

Sports247 reports that Monetsi revealed the positive projection while celebrating how he and Arokodare both got a goal apiece in Wolves’ 2-0 victory over visiting Everton in the competition officially known as League Cup.

Although Arokodare got only 22 minutes on the pitch at Molineux, after getting off the home team’s bench in the 68th minute, he hit headlines after craftily chipping home Wolves’ second goal in the 87th minute of play.

Arokodare’s effort was not only praised by Monetsi, but the Zimbabwe star went further by projecting better days in the English Premier League ahead of the former RKC Genk of Belgium striker and last season’s top-scorer in the Jupiler League.\

Monetsi, who netted the game’s first goal, stated: “It was really nice for him also to score, and I think he’s going to be very important for us this season. It was a League Cup game but, going into the Premier League, it was very good for him to get a morale boost.
