Anthony Joshua Hit With Stern Warning By Tyson Fury, Ahead Of November Showdown

Nigerian-born former world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Olaseni Oluwafemi Joshua has been hit with a stern warning by fellow-British fighter, Tyson Fury, who believes his rival has a weak chin.

Sports247 reports that Joshua and Fury are already booked for a long-awaited showdown in November and, though that date appears a long way to come, ‘The Gypsy King’ is already talking tough ahead of the fight.

Although the exact date and venue are yet to be confirmed, Fury, who has also been tipped to box in a warm-up bout before ‘The Battle of Britain,’ pointed out that Joshua’s suspect chin was exploited to the fullest by Daniel Dubois in 2024.

He went on to mock the London 2012 Olympic Games gold medalist and former two-time heavyweight champ, noting how Joshua fell flat in a knockout loss that he suffered at the hands of the fellow-Nigerian-born Dubois.

Fury, a former two-time world champion who’s already held every major belt in his division, posted on Instagram: “Dubois fought ‘Big Baby’ Miller, stopped him but never put him down. Then he fought [Filip] Hrgovic, but never put him down.

“He fought Wardley last night, in an unbelievable fight, stopped him but never put him down. He hit [Oleksandr] Usyk with some big bombs, never put him over Yet he fights Anthony Joshua and pummels him, puts him to the floor [four] times.

“I’m not saying Anthony Joshua’s chinless but there are the facts. Take it as you wish and as you will. Usyk or Wardley but Joshua goes down. Chinny! I’ve got some unbelievable, exciting news coming, stay tuned, about being in a ring.”
