The President of Authentic Nigeria football Supporters club, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi is full of tears on hearing about the shock demise of Chief Chidi Ofor Okenwa.
Before his death, chief Chidi Ofor was an executive board member of the Nigeria Football Federation and the chairman of Enugu State FA.
Prince Abayomi described late chief Chidi Ofor as someone that was dear to him. In his word ” Chief Chidi Ofor was close to me and a good man to a fault, I can remember the role he played in our last trip to Lesotho, he was a detribalized Nigeria that stood for the truth, he has been active in growth of football from the grassroots, words are insufficient for me to describe this great man. Of a truth, Nigeria football and Sports has lost a stabilizer in chief Chidi Ofor Okenwa. In my sorrow, may God Almighty grant him a perfect rest in His bosom.
