Anas Yusuf of Nasarawa United will be honoured with the prestigious Eunisell Gold Boot and a cash reward of ₦200,000 for each of his 18 goals after finishing as the top scorer in the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The total prize money of ₦3.6 million, along with the gold-plated boot, will be officially presented to Yusuf on Friday at the Radisson Blu Hotel, GRA Ikeja, Lagos. The award is sponsored by Eunisell, West Africa’s leading specialty chemicals and oilfield services company.

“The Eunisell Boot is not just an award; it’s our long-term commitment to rewarding hard work and developing Nigerian football,” said Chika Ikenga, Group Managing Director of Eunisell.
“Anas Yusuf’s 18-goal haul is a testament to what happens when talent meets opportunity.”
Yusuf’s prolific form included two hat-tricks, one brace, and ten single-goal performances, edging out top contenders Rabiu Ali (Kano Pillars) and Sunday Megwo (Abia Warriors)—both of whom finished with 13 goals.
He becomes only the second Nasarawa United player to win the Eunisell Boot, following Sunusi Ibrahim’s triumph in 2019.
Remarkably, his 18 goals accounted for nearly 50% of Nasarawa United’s total 40 goals, which played a critical role in helping the team narrowly avoid relegation.
In broader league statistics, Ikorodu City led as the highest-scoring team with 60 goals, followed by champions Remo Stars with 49 goals. At the other end of the spectrum, Lobi Stars endured a difficult campaign, managing only 29 goals in 38 matches and ultimately suffering relegation to the Nigeria National League (NNL).
With the Eunisell Boot continuing to highlight outstanding talent in the NPFL, Anas Yusuf’s achievement underscores the depth and potential of Nigeria’s domestic league.
