Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi is on the verge of creating a rare piece of Premier League history when Fulham host Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage on Saturday, September 5.
Sports247 reports that Iwobi currently has 99 Premier League appearances for Fulham, having previously recorded exactly 100 appearances for Arsenal and 123 for Everton. One more league appearance for the Cottagers would take him to 100 for his third Premier League club.

If he features against Crystal Palace, the Nigerian international will become only the fifth player in Premier League history to reach at least 100 appearances for three different clubs.
He would join an exclusive list featuring Gareth Barry, Rory Delap, Gary Speed and James Milner. The Premier League itself previously confirmed Milner as only the fourth player to achieve the feat when he reached 100 appearances for Liverpool in 2018.
A Remarkable Journey
Iwobi’s journey to this landmark has been built on consistency and adaptability.
The Lagos-born midfielder came through Arsenal’s academy before making his Premier League breakthrough under legendary manager Arsène Wenger. He went on to make exactly 100 league appearances for the Gunners before moving to Everton in 2019.
His four-season spell at Everton produced another 123 Premier League appearances, including a memorable 2022/23 campaign in which he started all 38 league matches.
Since joining Fulham in 2023, Iwobi has developed into an increasingly influential figure in the midfield, with his versatility and work rate making him a valuable member of the squad. He has now reached 99 league appearances for the London club.
The potential landmark would take his Premier League career total to 323 appearances across Arsenal, Everton and Fulham.
