Young football talents and outstanding coaches were celebrated as the Femmco 01 International Football Championship August Camping honoured its standout performers across the U-10, U-13, U-15 and U-17 categories at the NUD Playing Ground, Olose, Ifo.
Sports247 reports that the awards recognised players who distinguished themselves throughout the competition, alongside coaches and organisations that contributed significantly to the success of the grassroots football programme.

In the U-10 category, Ibrahim Iklaas of Femmco Football Academy emerged as the Most Valuable Player, while Anyasi Godwin Nnamdi, Head Coach of Authority FA, was named Best Coach.
The U-13 category saw Ojeleye Korede of Ultimate FC claim the Best Player award, with Adeosun Lukmon Bamidele, Head Coach of Sharp Striker FA, receiving the Best Coach honour.
In the U-15 category, Ibrahim Abdulrahmon, noted for his free-kick ability, was named Best Player, while Adeyinka Ogundeji of Rakel FA was recognised as the Best Coach.
The U-17 category produced another set of impressive awardees. Adesola Toheeb, a defensive midfielder from Rakel FA, was named the Most Valuable Player, while Coach Oluwafemi Adebayo Oladehinde of Femmco FA claimed the Best Coach award.
Two players received special recognition for their outstanding performances among the younger talents. Akanji Jibola was named the U-17 Young Best Player, while Olowoselu Korede received the prestigious Overall Young Best Player of the Tournament award.
The organisers also recognised the importance of grassroots support by presenting Mama of Africa Foundation with the Most Supportive Grassroots Sports award for its contribution to youth football development.
The awards underline the depth of emerging football talent showcased at the Femmco 01 International Football Championship and highlight the importance of grassroots competitions in giving young players the opportunity to develop, compete and attract wider attention.
