Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Victor James Osimhen has tagged the Super Eagles of Nigeria as a formidable squad that is capable of winning the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco,Sports247 reports.
Osimhen, who scored in the second group match 3-2 victory over Tunisia and captained the team for their 3-1 spanking of Uganda in the third game, reasoned that Nigeria has a very formidable squad.

However, while rating the Eagles very high in quality and depth, Osimhen assured their fans that the players will not underrate Mozambique in Monday’s round of 16 clash and ruled out any form of complacency by the team.
“I would count my country as one of the favourites. We are one of the most feared teams in this tournament.
“We can trample on any opponent, because this team has got the quality to do damage to any good team in this tournament.
“We respect every team that progresses to the next round and they are going to see the fighting spirit of Nigeria.
“The round of 16 is going to be even tougher than the group stages, but the boys are ready to give everything,” Osimhen assured.
