AFCON 2019: Obuh Rules Out Second Defeat For Super Eagles

Former coach of Nigeria’s under-20 national team, Flying Eagles,John Obuh has ruled out the possibility of another defeat for the Super Eagles against South Africa in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Speaking to sports247.ng about his expectations from Saturday’s match between both countries in Johannesburg, South Africa, Obuh said he does not expect a repeat of the 2-0 loss suffered by the Eagles in Uyo.

As the Eagles prepare for the match at FNB Stadium, Johannesburg, starting 2pm Nigeria time, Obuh said he is very sure the Eagles will come out with flying colours.

Obuh declared: “Unlike in the first leg in Uyo, I am sure that Nigeria’s technical crew will not take Bafana Bafana for granted again.

“I am sure they must have learnt from their mistakes in the previous match and the right adjustment will be done for Saturday’s game.

“They will get everything right this time, to make Nigerian soccer loving fans happy at the end of the day.”
