AFCON 2019 NIGERIAN REFEREES ABSENT FROM EGYPT PARTY

It’s believe that Nigeria Referees Association under the leadership of Alhaji Tade Azees Adegboyega no doubt is giving shape and good image to the Association but the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Wednesday announced a 27-man list of the initial referees chosen to officiate the 2019 AFCON without a single arbiter from Nigeria, sports247.ng reports.

The 2019 African Cup of Nations is set to take place in Egypt between June 21 and July 19 this year.

The list of referees saw the presence of 20 different nationalities from across the continent.

Three referees from host country also made the list.
