Tokyo 2020 Olympic finalist Adegoke Enoch made a confident start to his 2026 indoor campaign, clocking 6.71 seconds in the heats of the men’s 60m to open his season.

The Nigerian sprinter narrowly missed out on a place in the final by just 0.01 seconds, a fine margin that underlined the competitiveness of the field and the sharpness of his early-season form.
