Okikiola, who previously managed Ejigbo City FC, is expected to bring his technical expertise and motivational leadership to Hammola FC—fondly called the “Lee Bombers.” His arrival comes as the club seeks stability following the temporary departure of former coach Mudathir Adekunle.
Negotiations between both parties have reportedly been concluded, with the official unveiling expected before the end of the week.
Chairman Johnson commended Hammola FC’s management for their choice, expressing confidence that Okikiola’s appointment will strengthen the team’s performance in the forthcoming league campaign.
“Coach Okikiola has always demonstrated passion, discipline, and a clear football philosophy. We are proud of his progress and confident that he will make a lasting impact at Hammola FC,” Johnson stated.
He further prayed for divine wisdom and success for the young tactician as he takes on the new challenge.
The appointment marks another milestone in the career of one of Osun State’s most promising football coaches, underscoring the region’s growing reputation for producing top grassroots managers
