TCC 2024 FALL OUT! Beyond Limit FC’s Success Secrets Finally Exposed

In the wake of a fourth straight conquest of The Creative Championship (TCC) League by Beyond Limit FC of Ikenne, Ogun State, the club’s success secrets have finally been revealed.

The team pulled off a historic quadruple by spanking Broad City FC 2-0 to claim this year’s TCC title on Monday.

Beyond Limit FC’s coach, Olumide Ajibolade has now spilled the beans on all factors that accounted for the club’s sucess story.

The youthful tactician, who was last weekend officially appointed as an assistant coach to returnee under-17 national team, Golden Eaglets’ gaffer, Manu Garba, stressed that good organisation is propelling Beyond Limit to the top.

Although he chose to be coy by declaring that there is no big deal in winning the TCC trophy four times on the trot, Coach Olumide added that everyone in the club is focused on the task of getting better with each game, but not necessarily thinking of winnning trophies.

He added that the basic strategy at Beyond Limit FC, which is also highly regarded as the youth squad of Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) campaigners, Remo Stars FC of Ikenne, is that they never put themselves under pressure.

That turned out to be a useful approach for the squad in reviving their fortunes in the 2024 TCC, as they actually lost their first match 4-1 away to the same team they defeated to lift a fourth title on Mobday.

Ajibolade explained how effective the strategy turned out to be, saying: “We were never under pressure.

“That’s because we never come to this competition with the intention to win it. The intention is to compete and extract every information necessary on each of our players.
“In every game, we have to look at how we have improved. We take our focus and planning game-by-game. We are never in a rush to achieve anything.

“We are also playing in the NNL, we went to the Viareggio Cup in Italy, and we featured in Ogun State FA Cup. We take each as a step of developing players, not with a target of winning competitions.

“We just want to compete, and we are competitive. We hope to gain real tests from competitions. Hopefully, we’ll develop real gems from these kinds of tournaments.”
The eloquent and smooth-talking coach explained further that the youth development procedure at Beyond Limit has already produced some future stars of Nigerian football, and they aim to produce even more.

He concluded with a vision to keep churning out talents, not targeting trophies, in order to make many young people self-reliant for their families and themselves in years to come.
“That is the life of these boys … Paribo, Shina, Ganiyu. Where would they be without football? The real benefit for them playing is where they will be in a couple of years.

“Will they use this platform to go to the next level? Like the likes of Ebenezer, Basit, and others that have gone through this club. That is the real gain from this team,” Ajibolade stressed.

He then concluded with a philosophical look at the strategies that keep propelling Beyond Limit FC from one success to another.

“The secret of our progress is that there is no secret,” he retorted paradoxically.
“You can not cheat your way to success. You have to build a proper foundation and put in the right work.

“If you know the whole progress we go through in terms of organisation, our structure, the methodology … then you will know that success does not come through luck. It’s intentional!

“There’s an intentional approach to our work, and that is why the result is consistent for us.”
