The coach of Dynamos FC, Olayemi Samuel, expressed his joy and relief at the win, especially considering their defeat in the first match of the previous year’s tournament.
“I’m really happy today,” he said, attributing the victory to divine intervention and expressing his gratitude towards the organizers of the LAB Memorial football competition.

He described them as a “very good side”, pointing out that the balanced nature of the match that led to a 0-0 draw in full time was a testament to their skills. “They were eager and the match was very balanced. They are a good side as well but God gave us the victory today,” he added.
Looking ahead, Samuel expressed high hopes for his team in the tournament. “I am expecting us to win the cup, that is the expectation,” he confidently stated. With this strong start, fans and spectators alike will be eagerly watching FC Dynamos’ performance in the upcoming matches.
