Enyimba were log leaders coming into the game on four points and a win would have pushed them up to seventh which will seal a spot for them in the next CAF continental games and well in place for the NPFL title but with the result, they are still in firm control after the failure of other teams to capitalize on their slip.
Speaking in an exclusive interview to Sports247.ng after the game, a disgruntled Cooper allayed that the team is not happy and this was all in their hands to win.

“The team wants to do better in the next game and that’s just what we will do, no more room for complacency because now we have a second chance and we want to use it well, “the Delta-born midfielder allayed.
