Secretary General of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, Tunde Popoola is confident that the athletes will surprise the world.
Popoola called on every Nigerian to uphold the young lads in their prayers, stressing that they are the future hope.
“Our young athletes have trained very well for the Youth Olympic Games. They have worked so hard and should reap the benefits in the competition,” the astute administrator affirmed to Sports247.ng.
“Preparation for the event in Argentina went on smoothly with the Nigeria Olympic Committee ensuring that the gladiators were well catered for.”
“The youngsters will perform in their various events and surprise the world. They won’t disappoint.”
“I’m urging well meaning Nigerians to put the athletes in prayers.”
Events begins tomorrow in Argentina in this year’s Youth Olympic Games.
