The WABA President & Board Chair of the Board Onesmo Alfred McBride Ngowi (second from the left top line) held a Zoom meeting with WABA’s Commissioner from 17 North America, Latin America and South America.
The Two hour virtual meeting underscore the entity’s plans for development of youth as the potential group of boxing’s workforce and was sponsored by the USA, Canadian, Mexican and Argentinian Rotarian.
It was emphasized that time was ripped for boxing organizations to devised measures that would enable youths both females and males to utilize their boxing skills as part of Workforce Development and Empowerment.
Several virtual meeting participants scorned the recent statement by one immediate former world champions that there are many champions.
They hardly see possibility for hundred of thousand of young boxers to get fair chance to compete for boxing titles from one boxing entities and lauded he establishment of WABA.
It is the second virtual meeting that the WABA President has organized with various boxing stakeholders around the world as a crosscutting bridge.
In another development, WABA have established it’s Asian Pacific headquarter in Cebu, Philippines. The President and Chair of the Board of WABA Onesmo Alfred McBride Ngowi will soon name the President and Vice President of WABA Asian Pacific.
