High scoring Rangers International FC striker, Israel Abia has assured the club’ fans of several goals in the upcoming NPFL season to help the club achieve a double as he claimed that they have all it takes to be crowned double champions at the end of the season.
Ahead of the new season, Rangers have added several quality players to the squad and Israel has revealed his enthusiasm for the new project ahead with belief that he still has a tank full of goals to deliver when the season starts but with the support of his teammates.
”I strongly believe in the caliber of players in our team and we can battle any team to a standstill anywhere in the country so as to be crowned the league and Aiteo Cup champions in the coming season.”
The striker also praised the tactician at the helm of affairs, Salisu Yusuf saying, ”With coach Salisu Yusuf at the helm of affairs and the management led by Davidson Owumi, as well as quality players on the ground, the club will do well in the coming season.”
“In Yusuf, we have one of the best coaches around to guide us to deliver the goods who is well tested and grounded in his trade.”
The talismanic forward scored five goals for the Enugu-based club last season before the league came to an abrupt end due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak across the globe.
