IASC PatrickLingo Super League 2026: Zudachi Threaten to Demolish Wellborn Hotel as Jendol Prepare to Shut Down Remed Pharmacy in Matchweek 5!

The Island AllStars PatrickLingo Super League 2026 is approaching its halfway mark, and the Lagos Business School Sports Arena is preparing for another Saturday of football comedy, championship calculations and possible emergency repairs as Matchweek 5 kicks off on October 31.

The opening encounter at 8:30 a.m. will see Zudachi Construction confront Wellborn Hotels in a battle between builders protecting their unbeaten foundation and hoteliers desperately searching for a comfortable night’s sleep.

Zudachi have collected five points from three matches, but successive draws against Daily Manna and Jendol have slowed their construction project.

Now, the builders are arriving with cement, blocks and a demolition notice, hoping to turn Wellborn’s defence into an abandoned building!

But Wellborn Hotels have had enough of checking opponents into the victory suite.

After winning their opening fixture against Daily Manna, the hotel boys suffered consecutive defeats to Remed and Jendol before enjoying a Matchweek 4 rest day.

Perhaps the management used that break to change the bedsheets, repair the leaking defence and sack the imaginary receptionist who keeps handing opponents the keys to goal!

But the real blockbuster arrives at 10:30 a.m., when Jendol Superstores welcome league leaders Remed Healthcare in a battle between a supermarket that refuses to close and a pharmacy currently selling championship medicine!

Jendol remain unbeaten on five points after Chibuike redeemed his missed penalty with a 57th-minute equaliser against Zudachi last weekend.

The supermarket boys now want to put Remed’s six-point leadership on a special discount: BUY ONE GOAL, COLLECT THREE POINTS FREE!

Unfortunately for Jendol, Remed’s pharmacy is not running a charity programme.

Inspired by captain Uche Ifemeleduike’s brace against Daily Manna, Remed climbed to the summit with six points. Their captain also praised his goalkeeper’s crucial penalty save, which helped secure that 2–1 victory. Sports247 Nigeria +1

Now, the healthcare boys are threatening to shut down Jendol’s supermarket for selling goals without a doctor’s prescription!

Meanwhile, Daily Manna Global will observe their scheduled rest day. After four matches without victory, perhaps the bakery boys need to change their oven, sack the imaginary bread inspector or introduce a new recipe called Three Points Special!

With five matchweeks still to follow Saturday’s fixtures in this 10-week championship, nobody should mistake the halfway stage for the final whistle.

Sponsored by PatrickLingo Pharmaceuticals Limited, the competition continues to blend friendship, fitness and football entertainment.

According to the fixtures issued by Onyegbule Durugbo of the Sports Management Committee, both encounters will take place at LBS Sports Arena, with late kick-off penalties and walkover regulations applying.

Will Zudachi demolish Wellborn’s reception, or will the hotel boys finally offer their guests a comfortable defeat? Can Jendol empty Remed’s medicine cabinet, or will the league leaders prescribe another painful injection?

Four weeks gone, Matchweek 5 loading! Somebody should bring popcorn, because this league is becoming a comedy series with football boots!
