Blackburn Rovers of England defender, Ryan Alebiosu has brushed aside his recent battles with injuries in order to feature actively with his club during their ongoing busy run of competitive matches, Sports247 reports.
After featuring for 90 minutes in his club’s 2-1 victory over Cardiff City on Saturday, Alebiosu is bracing for another run around with the Ewood Park outfit this Tuesdsy against Bristol City, with great expectations for another win.

The right-full-back’s involvement in two matches for his club across a tight stretch of only four days comes in defiance of recent worries about his fitness, following a laceration he copped during his national team debut at the Africa Cup of Nations.
That was on December 30th, 2025 in the Super Eagles’ last group match versus Uganda, when a scary cut knocked Alebiosu out of the match and put an early end to his appearance in the competition, but the youngster has now disclosed that he experienced something worse as a 15-year-old kid.
Alebiosu, who is now 24 years old and waxing strong in England’s lower cadre Championship, recalled that he was sidelined for almost two years by a mystery injury that affected both of his knees and he could barely walk or run.
“I had pain in both of my knees and they did not know what was causing it. It was non-specific knee pain. Obviously, it was kind of depressing having about two years of not playing football because of this knee injury. This was when I was about 15 and went on for a couple of years.
“It was frustrating because I was a kid and everyone was progressing and I am just waiting to see when this is going to go. I was always hoping for the best, to be honest,” said Alebiosu, who joined Blackburn in 2025 and has 50 appearances for the club.
