Bursaspor of Turkey attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho will be all out to score yet another goal for the lower division outfit on Thursday and hope that, unlike last weekend, it would fetch his side victory, Sports247 reports.
This is sequel to the bitter-sweet experience Iheanacho had on Sunday, as he scored in his ninth straight match for the club, but it ended in agony, as Bursaspor suffered a 2-1 defeat at home against Mardin 1969 Spor.

The tipsy-turvy drama erupted when Tonio Teklic gave the visitors a 21st minute lead and Bursaspor struggled all the way to the last whistle, though Iheanacho equalised with a long-range strike nine minutes from time, akin to the one he scored for Nigeria against Russia.
However, while that international friendly last Tuesday in Nizhny Novgorod eventually ended 3-3, Sunday’s outing was not pleasant for Iheanacho and his teammates, as Zdravko Dimitrov hit the net in added time to secure victory for Mardin.
Thursday will now offer the opportunity of more goals for Iheanacho, as the former Sevilla of Spain, Middlesbrough of England and Celtic of Scotland hitman has scored in nine league games on the bounce for Bursaspor.
Iheanacho, a product of Taye Football Academy of Owerri, who previously played for Columbus Crew of USA as well as Manchester City and Leicester City of England, now has a total of 12 strikes and two assists this season, with statistics also showing that he has contributed 82.4% of his team’s 17 goals.
Sports247 gathered further that last weekend’s defeat left Bursaspor three points behind leaders Kayserispor, leaving Iheanacho and his pals eager to regain leverage from their upcoming away fixture against Muglaspor on Thursday.
