Nigeria Premier Football League side Plateau United have announced the death of the wife of defender Paul Odeh.
The club disclosed the sad news in a condolence message shared on its official X account on Monday.

Plateau United expressed sympathy with Odeh and his family, saying the defender’s wife passed away following a protracted illness.
The club said its management, staff, players and supporters stand with the defender during the difficult period and offered prayers for strength and comfort for the family.
“Paul, please know that you are not alone. The entire Plateau United family stands with you, surrounds you with love and keeps you and your family in our thoughts and prayers,” the club said in its message.
Odeh joined Plateau United from fellow NPFL side Enyimba during the summer transfer window as part of the club’s squad rebuild ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The defender is among the new additions to the Plateau United squad as the Jos-based club continues its campaign in the NPFL.
The club concluded its message by offering its deepest condolences to Odeh and his family and praying for the deceased to rest in peace.
Plateau United have not disclosed further details concerning the funeral arrangements.
