Nasarawa United assistant coach Daniel Nor has described his side’s encounter as an intense and fiercely contested rivalry after the Solid Miners secured all three points.
Speaking after the match, Nor acknowledged the competitive nature of the fixture, stressing that both teams battled hard in what proved to be an entertaining contest, Sports247 gathered.
“It’s indeed a serious rivalry match. It’s intense, interesting and competitive,” Nor said.
The Nasarawa United assistant coach was pleased with the result but admitted that the team remains dissatisfied with its recent points haul, having dropped vital points earlier in the campaign.
“To God be the glory, we have the three points, even though we are not comfortable because we have lost some couple of vital points,” he added.
Despite those setbacks, Nor believes Nasarawa United can turn things around and begin recovering lost ground, starting with their next assignment.
“However, I believe we will recover, beginning from our next game.”
