Defending champions Lagos Knights opened SHOWTIME Flag Football League Season XV with a spectacular statement, overpowering Delta Braves 60-7 at Showtime Arena in a performance that immediately showed why the champions remain one of the teams to watch.
At the centre of the demolition were Season XIV MVP Kayode Mafe and receiver Anyaorah Lotanna, who both recorded exceptional 10.0 player ratings. Mafe controlled the Knights’ offence from quarterback, while Lotanna repeatedly punished the Braves’ defence and emerged as one of the biggest individual stories of Game Week 1.
