Nigeria’s female youth national team, Falconets’ coach, Moses Aduku has disclosed that he and his players will give ‘a cup final approach’ to their match on Monday against Spain at the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Poland.
Sports247 reports that Aduku also declared that his team will put everything they have into the game, which is their opening match of Group F, in order to win it at Stadion Sosnowiec.

Aduku is also staying upbeat for victory by the two-time runners-up of this global championship, which began as an under-19 tournament at Canada 2002, and he believes they will defeat the Spaniards in the game that starts at 4pm Nigeria time.
“We are looking forward to the match against Spain with high expectations. We are ready and set to go. Spain is a good wide no doubt; let us not forget they are champions of the world at men’s senior level.
“However, we will approach the game like a cup final, because we want to win. The three points will put us in good stead in our group phase campaign,” said Aduku, while noting that Spain have made remarkable progress in the tournament’s history.
They got as far as the 2018 final in France but ended as runners-up after a 3-1 defeat by Japan, while the Falconets got to the finals in 2010 and 2014 but also lost them both.
Sports247 gathered further that Aduku is targeting a win against the Spaniards to boost confidence in his players ahead of their other group games against China this Thursday and New Caledonia on Sunday.
