Young Nigerian attacker Abel Apas has completed his move from Morak FC of Delta State to Akwa United FC, marking an important new chapter in his football career.
The promising forward has officially put pen to paper with the Uyo-based side and will now compete in the Nigeria National League (NNL), Nigeria’s second tier of professional football.
Apas arrives at Akwa United with an opportunity to test himself at a higher level and contribute to the club’s ambitions as the Promise Keepers look to make a strong push in the NNL.
The move also represents another significant step for Morak FC, whose development pathway continues to provide young talents with opportunities to progress into professional football.
Speaking on the move, Apas said he is determined to make the most of the opportunity and repay the faith shown in him.
“This is a new challenge for me, and I am ready to embrace it. I want to work hard, improve every day and make my contribution whenever I get the opportunity to represent Akwa United.”
The attacker is now set to settle into life in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, with attention turning to his performances on the pitch.
