New signing at Bursaspor of Turkey, Kelechi Ihenacho has declared that he is already feeling comfortable and settled at the Turkish lower division outfit, mostly beccause there are some striking similarities between the club and his former team, Celtic of Scotland.

Sports247 reports that, in contrast with widespread insinuations among Nigerian football followers that the former Mahcnester City and Leciester City of England star had fallen in status after agreeing to play in the Turkish second division, Iheanacho insists there is no big difference between both teams.
Rather than feel demeaned, the product of Taye Football Academy of Owerri, who had also previously played for Columbus Crew of USA, Sevilla of Spain and Midddlesbrough of England, stressed that he is already feeling at home in the midst of his new teammates, who he described as very friendly.
The gold medalist and most valuable player at UAE 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup stressed that he has no regrets for leaving Celtic, who he helped win the Scottish Premiership and FA Cup last season, but wants to achieve better success with Bursaspor, who are targeting promotion to Turkey’s Lig.
“Bursaspor is a big club in Turkey, and I heard that they had previously won the Turkish Super Lig. When I heard that they wanted to climb up to the Super Lig and also play in Europe, I said that this is a big project.
“It’s very good for me to come, be involved and help the team. So, I asked my agent to make sure he does everything possible to make sure I come to Bursaspor. My target is for us to go to the Super Lig.
“It’s the same green and white, to be fair. I don’t know if it’s deja vu, like they say in French. It’s the same shirt, but Celtic is a bit lighter green; Bursaspor is dark green. It’s a little bit different, but it’s all similar,” Iheanacho retorted.
