Former Nigeria U-20 coach Fatai Amoo has expressed confidence that the new Flying Eagles coaching crew led by Abdu Maikaba can build a successful team for Nigeria.
Reacting to recent discussions surrounding the Flying Eagles setup, Amoo called on supporters to remain patient and give the technical crew enough time to work.

“The team is in capable hands,” Amoo said.
According to the former youth coach, fans should avoid rushing to conclusions because the coaching staff may already be working extensively behind the scenes to identify the right players.
“People need to stay calm and trust the process,” he implied.
Amoo stressed that squad building at youth level naturally involves constant changes as competitions progress.
“Some players will be dropped while new talents come in,” he noted.
The former coach explained that strengthening the team gradually through player evaluation remains a normal part of youth football development.
“That’s how strong youth teams are built,” he added.
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles continue preparing for future continental and global youth competitions under Maikaba’s leadership.
“The expectations around the team remain high,” many football observers believe.
Amoo remains optimistic that the new coaching crew can successfully develop another competitive Nigerian youth side if given proper support and patience.
“The process needs time,” he stressed.
For the former Flying Eagles coach, the message is clear.
Trust the technical crew.
Allow the rebuilding process continue.
And support the gradual development of the squad.
Because successful youth teams are built through patience, scouting, and continuous improvement.
