Former Right 2 Win Academy midfielder Mubarak Suileman continued his impressive rise in European football after providing an assist for SK Slavia Prague in their 3-1 defeat to FC Hradec Králové in the Czech Fortuna Chance Liga.
The talented Nigerian midfielder came on in the 63rd minute and immediately added energy, creativity, and composure to Slavia Praha’s midfield at the Malšovická aréna.
Suileman made his impact count in the 85th minute when he delivered a well-weighted assist to help the Czech champions pull one goal back and deny Hradec Králové a clean sheet.
The assist marked the Nigerian youngster’s second professional assist of the season, adding to his growing contribution for Slavia Praha’s senior side. He has also registered one league goal and another goal in the MOL Cup during an encouraging breakthrough campaign.
Despite the defeat, Slavia Praha had already been crowned champions of the Czech Fortuna Chance Liga last week, making it Mubarak Suileman’s first major trophy since joining the club.
The Nigerian midfielder has continued to attract attention with his technical quality, vision, intelligence on the ball, and ability to influence games from midfield whenever called upon.
His development at one of the biggest clubs in Czech football is being viewed as another positive step for Nigerian talent abroad, especially considering his steady transition from academy football into the senior professional stage.
Slavia Praha will now conclude their title-winning campaign against FC Viktoria Plzeň at the Fortuna Arena, where the league trophy will officially be presented to the champions.
Mubarak Suileman will be hoping to make another appearance and finish an impressive season on a strong note as his reputation continues to grow in European football.
