Group A: Leaders Hold Firm Despite Pressure

In Group A, the top three teams maintained their positions despite a round of dramatic fixtures. Defending champions Bayelsa Queens remain at the summit of the table, holding onto first place even after suffering a heavy defeat on the road.

Close behind are Rivers Angels and Edo Queens, both of whom continue to apply pressure in what has become a fiercely contested battle for the top positions. With only a narrow points margin separating the frontrunners, every result in the coming weeks could significantly influence the race for qualification into the prestigious Super Six stage.

The competition in the group remains open, with several teams still mathematically capable of challenging for the playoff positions as the season progresses.

Group B: Robo Queens Hold Top Spot

In Group B, FC Robo Queens strengthened their hold on first place after securing a narrow victory over Sunshine Queens in Lagos. The win ensured that the Lagos Landladies remain at the summit of the standings as the second stanza of the season gathers momentum.

Meanwhmwhile, Nasarawa Amazons moved into second place following a hard-fought draw away against Delta Queens. The result allowed them to leapfrog Remo Stars Ladies, who slipped down the table after suffering a home defeat to Ahudiyannem Queens.

Playoff Race Heating Up

With the second half of the season now underway, the battle for Super Six qualification is becoming increasingly intense. Teams across both groups are beginning to define their ambitions—whether pushing for playoff spots or fighting to stay competitive in the standings.

As the league moves deeper into the campaign, the margins between success and disappointment remain extremely thin, setting the stage for an exciting run-in as clubs chase crucial points and a place among the league’s elite in the season-ending Super Six playoffs.
