The defender, who has grown into a leadership role at English side MK Dons Women, said her Nigerian heritage remains central to her identity and football aspirations.
“It would be one of the proudest moments of my life to represent Nigeria,” Omenazu said. “That’s where my roots are, and it means everything to me.”
Omenazu emphasized that her desire goes beyond simply earning a call-up — she wants to contribute meaningfully to the success of the national team.
“I don’t just want to be there; I want to help the Super Falcons win more titles,” she added.
The Super Falcons, Africa’s most successful women’s national team, are currently building toward upcoming international competitions, and Omenazu believes her experience abroad could add value.
“Playing in England has helped me develop tactically and mentally. I believe I can bring that experience to the team,” she explained.
The MK Dons skipper also praised the current crop of Super Falcons players, describing them as role models who have inspired her journey.
“Watching the Falcons over the years has motivated me. They’ve set a high standard,” she noted.
Despite not yet receiving a call-up, Omenazu remains patient and focused on improving her performances at club level.
“All I can do is keep working hard and let my football speak,” she said.
With Nigeria constantly scouting talent both at home and abroad, Omenazu’s public declaration of intent adds her name to the growing list of diaspora players eager to don the national colours.
“If the opportunity comes, I’ll be ready,” she concluded.
Her ambition reflects the continued global appeal of representing the Super Falcons on the international stage.
