Arsenal’s Nigerian-born dazzler, Eberechi Eze is under focus in the English Premier League, after he had yet another heroic game against Tottenham Hotspur and helped his side snatch a 4-1 away win.
Sports247 reports that Sunday’s victory at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was largely unexpected by critical followers of the EPL, as Arsenal appeared set to ‘bottle’ their title surge once again.

Speculation in that direction came after The Gunners gave up a two goal lead to draw 2-2 away to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday, but Eze had other thoughts on his mind.
Although he has largely been regarded by critics as ‘a bit of a disaster’ since joining Arsenal for £60m from Crystal Palace in the summer, Eze showed he has an uncanny knack for heroics in North London derbies.
In similar fashion with how he netted a hat trick against the same team earlier in the season, Eze scored twice against Spurs on Sunday, to ensure The Gunners defeated their North London rivals 8-2 on aggregate.
Eze’s personal ratings from Sunday’s match by SunSport were highest among The Gunners’ players on the evening and the tabloid noted,” Arsenal’s hero against Tottenham for the second time this season.
“Clearly there is something about the North London Derby that sparks Eberechi Eze into life. Scored two goals and looked like the player that fired Crystal Palace to FA Cup glory last season.”
Arsenal’s coach, Mikel Arteta added, “He was upset, even with me, because I didn’t play him the other day from the beginning, and some of the decisions that I made. I just have to understand how we’re going to get the best out of him now.”
