Aduku spoke after the Falconets secured qualification to the final round of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers, following a 3–1 aggregate victory over Senegal. Nigeria will now face Malawi in the decisive final qualifying round.

“We are improving with every game and the best is yet to come,” Aduku said.

“African football has grown tremendously, and the teams that qualify from this continent will be strong enough to challenge for the World Cup and even win it.”

The Falconets coach expressed confidence in his players’ ability to compete with the best in the world, stressing that Nigeria remains a strong contender for global success at youth level.

“Any team that comes out of Africa will be well prepared. Nigeria can be one of those teams that go all the way,” he added.

Nigeria will now shift focus to preparations for the final hurdle against Malawi, as they bid to book a place at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup and continue the country’s strong tradition in women’s football.
