The landmark agreement grants Cloud Sports Limited exclusive rights to broadcast and produce LSFA matches, including live games and highlights.

The partnership is aimed at improving the quality of football coverage in the state, expanding audience reach, and enhancing the overall fan experience through high-standard production and distribution.

Valued at ₦100 million over a three-year period, the deal is designed to professionalise the Lagos FA Cup, boost its visibility, and unlock new commercial and developmental opportunities for clubs, players, and stakeholders within the Lagos football ecosystem.

Under the terms of the agreement, Cloud Sports Limited will manage all broadcasting and production services for LSFA competitions. The partnership adopts a hybrid structure that combines cash payments with value-in-kind contributions.

These include the provision of 300 footballs to support 79 LSFA-affiliated clubs, as well as a one-day professional training programme for the 79 media officers of clubs registered for the 2025/2026 Lagos FA Cup.

Speaking on the development, LSFA Chairman Hajji Gafar Liameed expressed appreciation to Cloud Sports Limited for their commitment to Lagos football.

“On behalf of the Lagos State Football Association, I sincerely appreciate Cloud Sports for their confidence, investment, and shared vision for the growth of football in Lagos.

Together, we are setting a new benchmark for grassroots football broadcasting and content production in Lagos, Nigeria,” Liameed said.

He further noted that while Lagos football holds immense commercial potential, structural challenges have slowed its growth.

“Lagos State football is a trillion-naira business, but our peculiar challenges have hampered its full development. Our determination, as custodians of the beautiful game, is to continue driving the positive momentum we have created,” he added.

The agreement is expected to significantly increase the visibility of the Lagos FA Cup, attract sponsors and investors, and strengthen the foundation of grassroots football across the state.
